The work presented in this report is part of the OECD project on individual Travel Behavior. The aim of the report is to reveal trends in individual travel behavior, to point out environmental and other problems associated with aggregate mobility trends, to present major factors linked to individual travel, to understand travel as a social action, and to discuss effects of policies on individual travel behavior. The report also focuses on the problem of implementation and questions related to conflict and power.
