The Houston ITS Priority Corridor is one of four corridors selected by the U.S. Department of Transportation to showcase intelligent transportation systems (ITS) applications. This report documents the 2000 update and reflects the Federal Highway Administration funding commitments through FY 99. The plan contain 26 projects, all with work order defining agency responsibilities, project scope, and budge approved by TxDOT and FHWA. Funding for implementation of the plan is considered complete, as federal funding for the Priority Corridor Program has ended. Total estimated cost for the Priority Corridor Program is $26,293,378.
