Reflector assembly for concentration of Sunlight onto photovoltaic cell based on Cassegrainian optical system modified to increase allowable error angle between aim and line of sight to Sun. Widening of cone of acceptance reduces degradation of performance caused by surface-slope errors, misalignments between optical components, and non-fully-specular (i.e., partly diffuse) reflectance. Consequent relaxation of aiming and manufacturing tolerances reduces cost and number of rejects in manufacturing and simplify operation.
