Around the world, space exploration enables unique scientific investigations of the near Earth space environment and planetary exploration principally on the Moon and Mars. In Japan, a diverse community of researchers, in which architects are very well represented, are devising sets of questions that must be answered to better understand the meaning of space exploration and our professional place in it.From the perspective of the Architecture Aerospace Studio Project of the Keio University and University of Tokyo Associate Program, an important criterion is to develop an architectural professional profile necessary to enable us to execute a program addressing science objectives. The architectural and design answers will be chosen on the basis of a variety of factors, including cost, safety, schedule, feasibility and the overall ability to accomplish missions objectives.Through a short story of how we developed the first academic group of research on aerospace architecture in Japan, this paper aims to state a description of the Architecture Aerospace Studio Project of the Keio University and University of Tokyo Associate Program, and in its Perspectives for extend this experience in the future, we are coming up with few recommendations in order to contribute to its positive development.
