Requirements for weight reduction, downsizing and cost reduction have been increasing on automobile components. The same can be said for water pumps. However, significant weight reduction, downsizing and cost reduction have been big issues with conventional structure water pumps because these issues had been already addressed through several decades. Therefore we focused on innovation of the structure and succeeded in development of a new type water pump achieving mass reduction, downsizing and cost reduction. The structure innovated water pump is described in theses papers.
