Under the policy of rational use of time-of-use electricity price, the terminal can effectively reduce the power cost of the terminal on the premise of ensuring that the ship loading and unloading tasks are completed as planned, which is of great significance to reduce the terminal operation cost and maintain the stability of the power grid. Quay crane is one of the main equipment of cargo loading and unloading operation in the terminal, and electric energy is its main energy. Therefore, this paper takes the quay crane unloading operation as the research object, and constructs a quay crane scheduling model with the goal of minimizing the power cost of quay crane under the premise of ensuring the completion of the ship loading and unloading tasks as planned. Genetic algorithm is used to solve the model. On the premise of ensuring that the ship loading and unloading tasks are completed as planned, the model can effectively dock the power cost of quay crane operations.
