In response to the current issue of the inability to monitor and plan the path of ships passing through the Three Gorges ship lift, as well as the analysis of navigation characteristics and reminders of navigation elements for various types of ships, a dynamic monitoring system scheme for ships passing through the Three Gorges ship lift is proposed, which integrates monitoring terminals, data communication, data storage, backend data processing, ship operation monitoring and early warning modules, and integrates multiple sources of data. Through on-site equipment deployment and actual ship testing results, it has been shown that the dynamic monitoring system for ships passing through compartments makes it easier for ship elevator operators to understand and judge the ship's navigation status. Advanced algorithms are used for target tracking and anomaly detection, and timely warnings are issued to ensure the safety of ship elevators and ships passing through compartments.
