The paper summarizes the design of an LSTM network to predict the passenger flow in a specific route in the Pune city. The demand for buses, the nature of the traffic and the frequency of the buses are all random phenomena. It is always required to reduce the waiting time of passengers, meanwhile we have to enhance the bottom line of the bus operator. To attain this, we need to predict the passenger flow in different routes and the bus scheduling should be done, keeping in mind the profitability of the transport company.
