Abstract The execution of investment projects in the public-private partnership formula is a relatively frequent solution in the developer countries of the Western Europe. That solution has numerous virtues and advantages, especially in case of costly and complex investment projects. The public-private partnership formula may be successfully applied in case of projects concerning the supply and implementation of IT systems, it allows to manage the very undertaking better, as well as to manage better the risks that occur in the course of execution of such projects.
