We have studied simplified models of spacecraft motion for mission design purposes. Now, we turn to considering factors in flight operations such as developing precision maneuver parameters that can be executed by a spacecraft inflight, using numerical integration algorithms to determine the trajectory, following operational procedures for performing a (very large) orbit insertion maneuver, and avoiding spacecraft collisions with other spacecrafts or celestial bodies in flight. Finally, the Navigation Team performs trajectory reconstruction and archiving of trajectory information at the end of the mission.
