The fire control system plays an important role in weapon equipment, and there is not yet a method for effectiveness evaluation of fire control system from the quantitative optimization of indicators and the comprehensive evaluation for overall effectiveness. In this paper, the effectiveness evaluation indicator system of fire control is designed first based on literature research. Five evaluation dimensions, including the information acquisition efficiency, the information processing efficiency, the information utilization efficiency, the information support efficiency, and the system survivability, are summarized. The corresponding two-level indicators and measurement indicators are proposed. And then the fuzzy Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) method is used to describe the interrelationship among evaluation factors according to the calculation results of centrality and causality, and to determine the impact each factor poses on the whole system. Based on the fuzzy DEMATEL results, the preliminary established effectiveness evaluation system is optimized and updated, and the multilevel comprehensive evaluation method is proposed to realize the comprehensive effectiveness evaluation for fire control system from multiple dimensions. This provides a basis for the quantitative optimization of effectiveness evaluation system of fire control, and also provides a method for evaluating the effectiveness of fire control system.
