In the process of executing tasks for multiple UAVs, the flight missions impose strict requirements on the convergence time, as an important indicator of control performance for UAV system. Currently, most control algorithms of UAVs are based on asymptotic stable tracking Yu et al (J Frankl Inst 357(16):11830–11862, 2020; J Frankl Inst 357(12):7879–7903, 2020), Yu et al (IEEE Trans Neural Networks Learn Syst 31(6):2077–2091, 2020), which makes it difficult to satisfy the rapid convergence for UAV systems. Therefore, this chapter focuses on enhancing convergence speed of multi-UAV systems with fixed-time control method.
