For large-capacity power battery systems, both academia and industry have realized the importance of rational use of batteries to ensure the safe and efficient operation of power battery systems. The thermal runaway characteristics of lithium titanate anode batteries with different capacities and different packaging forms under overcharge were studied in the paper. By comparing the results, the safety boundary conditions of the lithium titanate anode battery under the overcharge condition are summarized, which have guiding significance for the rational use of lithium titanate anode batteries.
