The 3DHT dynamic mathematical model is analyzed in this paper. The transmission structure is P1/P3 structure, and the engine is rigidly connected with P1 motor. There is a clutch between the engine and the transmission, which acts as a series parallel switch. When driving in EV mode, the vehicle is mainly driven through P3, the engine power is not output, and the clutch is opened. When driving in series mode, the vehicle is also driven through P3, but the engine power is used to drive P1 power generation, and the clutch is also open. When driving in parallel mode, the P3 and the engine drive the vehicle at the same time, the transmission needs to be hung in the corresponding gear, and the clutch needs to be closed. When switching from EV mode or series mode to parallel mode, it is necessary to implement the shift action problem, which will undoubtedly affect the acceleration performance of the vehicle. In pure electric driving, if the pre-shift strategy is adopted, the gear will increase with the increase of the speed. When the EV is switched to parallel driving, the parallel mode can be realized only by clutch engagement. Engine torque can be quickly transmitted to the wheels. The verification platform of vehicle software closed-loop system is constructed, and the pre-shift strategy is verified by simulation. The test data prove that the proposed pre-shift strategy in EV mode can significantly improve the dynamic performance of the vehicle.
