Traffic congestion and imbalanced proportion of travel modes have become complex problems that many large and medium-sized cities need to face. The article studies the travel choice behavior of commuters by constructing a multi-agent micro traffic simulation model with the goal of minimizing the cost function of multimodal travel. The research results indicate that the travel time and mode choices of individual commuters have an impact on travel costs.
