Using the regular one- and two-parameter distributions to represent the probability densities of damage in the aviation system, studies were conducted on its maximum and average risk in the case of violation of standard operating modes of aircraft equipment specimens, erroneous actions of aviation personnel and manifestation of destructive factors of the aviation environment. To ensure the safety of flights, a rule was established for risk management in the aviation system based on the selection of damage importance coefficients based on estimates of resource costs required to prevent threats in flight situations.
