In order to systematically analyze and summarize the research status and development trend of airport gate assignment problem, the knowledge graph analysis software VOS viewer is used to carry out the co-word clustering analysis of airport gate assignment problem for 128 articles included in WOS database and CNKI database, and two research hotspots of airport gate assignment are obtained, namely, the algorithm research of airport gate assignment and the multi-objective model optimization of different stakeholders. The research progress of airport gate assignment algorithm and the multi-objective model of airport gate assignment with different stakeholders are reviewed. The main development trends of airport gate assignment in the future are analyzed.
