Abstract This paper discusses in detail the mechanism of daily dynamic train diagram compilation. It is based on the dynamic demand of transportation market and the dynamic change of railway transportation resources, and comprehensively consider the freight transportation marketing, train traffic organization, train operation plan, locomotive and vehicle operation plan and other related plans to compile a set of planning system for guiding the actual production of goods transportation. On this basis, the compilation principle, compilation process and organization of train operation based on daily dynamic train diagram are proposed. Finally, using the dynamic line selection method, and the dynamic train operation line selection model is constructed to compile the daily dynamic train diagram, to provide a basis theory for the daily dynamic train diagram compilation.
