As a manned space station works in orbit for a long time, there are naturally various microorganisms in its cabin, and these microorganisms will bring the station and astronauts risks. Therefore, microorganism control has become a new problem that space stations must face. This paper studies the microorganism control of space station, introduces the source of microorganisms on space station, and expounds on microorganism test methods and in-orbit control measures of the international space station (ISS) and China’s space station (CSS). Finally, this paper predicts the application of new microorganism control technologies in the future operation of CSS.
