Dynamic cutback flyover noise calculation can be used for the airworthiness certification of community noise of civil aircraft and is of great importance to reduce the noise level. This calculation methodology processes the flight path, engine response and noise database to obtain the effective perceived noise level (EPNL) for flyover under various limitation. Currently, the noise airworthiness regulations only provide general principles without specific methods for reference. This article outlines the parameters and limitations involved in dynamic cutback calculation, provides a detailed methodology suitable for different types of dynamic cutback profile, and analyzes the influence of altitude parameters on noise levels. The results show that the airworthiness noise level can be reduced by about 2.1EPNdB, which improve aircraft economy and market competitiveness.
