This paper focuses on developing the torque dynamic distribution algorithm of In-Wheel-Motor electric vehicle. The algorithm is developed to regulate the vehicle body yaw rate by changing the motor drive torque distribution between front wheel and rear wheel. The control aim is to control the vehicle yaw rate approach to the desired yaw rate. The proposed control strategies are evaluated with simulation, and the results show that the proposed method can improve the vehicle stability.
