With the increasing popularity of intermodal transport and related technologies around the world, transport is becoming more and more convenient, which has contributed to the development of freight transport. These changes have contributed to the beginning of an active period of economic development in China. However, there are still many challenges in the way of China’s economic and freight transport development. Examining the coordination of different modes of freight transport from the perspective of China’s digitalisation contributes to understanding the differences, which can provide effective countermeasures and proposals for the sustainable and coordinated development of freight transport. The economic corridor takes the China-Russia partnership to a new level, opening up new opportunities between the countries and providing synergies for their fruitful cooperation. The natural symbiosis of logistics and transport in modern transport hubs can be a prerequisite for the emergence and harmonious functioning of a new intermodal transport management mechanism. Their interaction will eliminate unproductive costs and ensure high profitability and attractiveness of freight transport in transport hubs.
