It is hoped that optimal support for traffic safety will create a safer and more comfortable traffic environment for all road users, especially motorcyclists and pedestrians. This study aims to improve traffic safety for drivers and pedestrians on Cipatat Road segment 7 and segment 8, West Bandung Regency. Quantitative methods are applied in this study with analysis techniques using road safety inspection to determine road infrastructure and provide recommendations for road infrastructure proposals, the gross output method to determine accident costs, and roadside hazards to determine the risks arising from roadside hazards. The results of the study indicate that segments 7 and 8 from the results of spot speed analysis and 85th percentile it is known that the highest speed in the direction of entry of segment 7 is 58 km/h which is categorized as exceeding the set speed limit, while for the exit direction with a speed of 62.8 km/h is also categorized as exceeding the set speed limit. Then in segment 8 the highest speed in the direction of entry of 58 km/h has exceeded the set speed limit, the speed for the exit direction of 66.1 km/h has exceeded the set speed limit. The high number of accidents on Cipatat Road segment 7 and segment 8 is mostly caused by human factors and poor road infrastructure. Therefore, it is necessary to install speed limit signs, install caution signs, install guide signs, crossing facilities, add zebra crossings and rumble strips to protect the safety and comfort of road users.
