Sizes and velocities of modern ships have been groving up, so that the power of propulsion systems and diameters of shafts increase, and the relationship between stiffnesses of shafts and supporting constructions changes. The assumption of shaft rigid foundation is admissible for small and slow ships, in other cases it can produce reasonable errors. Now, it is neccessity for analysis of the system which consists of shaft joined with, deformable foundation by elastic pedestal bearings. In this paper a method, based on the Hybrid deformable and rigid Finite Element Method, is described as well as the algorithm for calculation free and forced force and/or cinematic excitation vibrations.(Wassmann)
