a rapid and sensitive method has been developed. this research has revealed an interesting phenomenon regarding the concentration of beryllium in the lunar samples. the beryllium content of the lunar dust is much higher than that of any of the lunar crystalline rocks analyzed. the detection limit is approximately 4 x 10 to the power -14 gram beryllium.
