The system modelling of the performance of an autothermal Jet A fuel reformer combined with a solid oxide fuel cell is described. The system consists of an air compressor, two integrated heat exchangers, an afterburner, a turbine and a condenser to recover the excess water. Part of the water is reused for the reforming; the other part can be used in the aircraft for grey water applications. A power variation in the range of 50 kW - 150 kW was performed for two inlet pressure levels (1 and 0.2 bar absolute) corresponding to ambient pressure on ground and at 40,000 feet altitude. The following values were analysed: mass flow of Jet A fuel, mass flow of air, mass flow of recovered water, mass flow and composition of the off-gas, compressor and turbine power and the heat load of the condenser.
