The subject of this work is simulation of transportation networks featuring autonomous shipments. Thereby routing-algorithms used in packet-switched data-networks are applied on external logistic networks and their effects are characterized. A simulation environment for transportation networks with autonomous cargoes (ATNSim) is implemented. Existing solutions of networks used by mail and express services are used as examples for simulation. Their behaviour with classical static routing of goods as well as dynamic algorithms is statistically seized and evaluated. Objective of this work is to compare the quality logistical networks with and without the employment of autonomous procedures by simulation, hi consideration of different levels of load their behaviour is analyzed in order to support strategy choice to charge the capacity future transportation networks better and evenly.
