An experiment-calculated investigation method of the deflected mode of rubber-cord details based on the finite-element method and the method of frozen insets is proposed. The method allows forecast the working capacity of the rubber-cord items on the projecting phase. It has been found that the mos stressed parts of pneumatic tires are the rubber interfaces between the rubber-cord layers, where also the beginning of the crack formation takes place. The proposed method allows to study the stress concentrations in the internal zones of rubber-cord products and to predict their working capacity on the projecting phase.
