A wheel-speed servo module is devised using an optimal regulator applied to an automotive antiskid control. Command values for this module are based on road-surface conditions using fuzzy logic in the command module. By combining the two modules, a hybrid system is realized that uses the advantages of each theory. This system may be regarded as an autonomous system, because it produces the desired command values by itself.
