The paper presents mathematical models which enable to reproduce probables accidental releases of liquefied or compressed gas from industrial facilities by means of numerical experiments. The complex of developed numerical algorithms and computer codes is based on numerical solution of sets of differential equations which describe thermo-gas dynamics and heat-mass transfer processes running while an accident takes place. The main advantage of suggested approach for safety and risk analysis is the possibility to reproduce accidental releases of hazardous materials close to reality and obtain time-space distribution of hazard. Some results of the simulation of explosive gas accidental releases from liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) high-pressure tanks, liquefied n-butane pipeline and also toxic chemicals (hydrogen sulfide) accidental blowouts from wells are given in the paper as an illustration of the software practical usage.
