In this paper, an overall design scheme of mobile robot system based on ROS is proposed. The whole system is divided into three parts: perception, decision and control, and the vehicle kinematics related to dual-wheel differential is analyzed. The final design of mobile robot is in the unattended situation, through its own sensor detection of the surrounding environment information, independent analysis and judgment of the complex and changeable environment, complete the global path search, achieve path tracking to the target point in the environment map.
