With the improvement of the electrification degree of modern ships, it is necessary to monitor their power system in order to ensure the safety of navigation. MATLAB/Simulink is used to establish the simulation model of the ship power system, and the simulation and research of the ship under normal working conditions and the occurrence of short circuit fault are carried out, and the change of the electrical volume during the short circuit fault of the ship power system is analyzed. This paper innovatively designs a monitoring and alarming interface for ship power system, which displays various parameters of generator set such as voltage, current and power in real time, and sets different levels of fault alarm lights, which can more intuitively display the running state of ship power system, and realize the monitoring and fault alarm functions of ship power system.
