The invention discloses a hexapod robot which comprises a connecting board, a circuit board, a Freescale control board and six mobile feet, wherein each mobile feet comprises a first steering engine, a first connecting arm, a second steering engine, a second connecting arm, a third steering engine, a pressure board and a supporting leg. According to the invention, 18 steering engines are used for forming the mobile feet of the robot, and thus various complicated actions can be realized through respectively controlling the rotation of the steering engines; the mobile feet are independent, can be individually controlled, are convenient to control and simple in programming, and are suitable for students to learn; and the mobile feet are embedded into mounting grooves through the steering engines, so that the mobile feet are convenient to assemble and easy to maintain and replace.
