A driving force transmission device is provided with a clutch housing (3) configured to be connected to a propeller shaft (17); a shaft including a fragile part (40) that is a part of the shaft in theaxial direction; a multi-plate clutch arranged between the clutch housing (3) and the shaft; a housing member including a housing part having a cylindrical shape, the housing part being configured tohouse at least a part of the clutch housing (3); and an anti-falling member configured to allow the clutch housing (3) to rotate while restraining the clutch housing (3) from falling off from the receiving part when the shaft is broken at the fragile part (40).
