The invention provides an RFID module capable of maintaining the shape of a coating layer and improving the durability and communication performance of the RFID module, and a pneumatic tire embedded with the RFID module. The present invention is provided with an IC substrate (21) for storing data, an antenna (22) for transmitting and receiving data, and a coating layer (23) for coating the antenna (22), the coating layer (23) containing calcium carbonate, and the relative permittivity of the coating layer (23) being 7 or less.
