The invention belongs to the technical field of auxiliary driving, and particularly relates to a detection method for judging whether a vehicle can pass an obstacle road section, which is applied to the vehicle and comprises the following steps: detecting the shortest distance and azimuth angle between target obstacles on two sides and a radar; the shortest distance between the target obstacles on the two sides is calculated according to the detected shortest distance and the azimuth angle; comparing the shortest distance of the target obstacles on the two sides with the width of the vehicle body, and judging whether the vehicle can pass the obstacle road. The method is not influenced by human factors, road conditions, weather and other factors, not only can effectively ensure the judgment accuracy and improve the driving assistance safety, but also has the characteristics of low equipment cost and high compatibility, and can be universally applied to vehicles to provide driving assistance for drivers.

    本发明属于辅助驾驶技术领域,具体涉及一种判断车辆可否通行障碍物路段的检测方法,应用于车辆上,包括探测两侧目标障碍物与雷达之间的最短距离和方位角,并根据探测得到的最短距离和方位角计算得出两侧目标障碍物之间的最短距离;比较两侧目标障碍物最短距离与车身宽度的大小,判断车辆可否通行障碍物路段。本发明不受人为、路况和天气等因素的影响,不仅可有效的保证判断的准确度,提高驾驶辅助的安全性,而且具有设备成本低、兼容性高的特点,可普遍的应用于车辆上,为驾驶员提供驾驶辅助。
