The invention belongs to the technical field of high-altitude airship design, and particularly relates to a high-altitude airship adopting hybrid propulsion and a control method thereof.The high-altitude airship adopting hybrid propulsion comprises a large-aperture radar arranged at the abdomen of the high-altitude airship in a fused mode; the ducted fan is arranged at the tail part of the high-altitude airship; the regenerative fuel cell is connected to a power supply of the large-aperture radar and the ducted fan, and a solar cell array of the regenerative fuel cell is connected to the top of the high-altitude airship; and the hydrogen fuel turbine engine is arranged at the rear end of the high-altitude airship, is provided with a hydrogen fuel storage tank and is connected with the hydrogen fuel storage tank of the regenerative fuel cell, an output shaft of the hydrogen fuel turbine engine is connected with a generator, and the generator is connected to a power supply of the large-aperture radar and the ducted fan.
