The invention relates to a brake-by-wire redundancy control method and device, an automobile and a computer readable storage medium. The method comprises the steps that a service braking acceleration request is sent, and whether an electronic power-assisted brake controller, an automobile body electronic stability controller and an electronic parking brake controller operate normally or not is judged; if both are normal, controlling to normally respond to the service braking acceleration request, otherwise, controlling to respond to the service braking acceleration request or the parking braking acceleration request; a parking braking acceleration request is sent, and whether an electronic power-assisted brake controller, a vehicle body electronic stability controller and an electronic parking braking controller operate normally or not is judged; and if both are normal, controlling the electronic parking braking controller to normally respond to the parking braking acceleration request, and otherwise, controlling the electronic parking braking controller to respond to the traveling braking acceleration request at the maximum braking acceleration. Therefore, under the condition that no extra hardware is added and the cost of the whole vehicle braking system is controlled, the problem of vehicle braking failure is effectively solved, and the safety of the vehicle is improved.
