The method comprises the steps that attitude data, corresponding to different main arm parameter combinations, of the high-altitude operation machine are obtained, the main arm parameter combinations are the combinations of the main arm length and the main arm angle, and the attitude data comprise the platform load value of an operation platform, the dip angle value of a rotation mechanism and the rotation angle value of the rotation mechanism; according to the attitude data and the main arm parameter combinations, the ground bearing reaction of tires corresponding to the main arm parameter combinations is determined; determining a target main arm parameter combination in the main arm parameter combinations according to the ground reaction force; determining a target working interval of the main arm according to the target main arm parameter combination; and controlling the main arm to work according to the target working interval so as to control the working platform. By determining the target working interval and controlling the main arm to move in real time, the control precision of the working platform can be improved.
