PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow control valve capable of reducing torque when a valve in a housing is rotated and driven.SOLUTION: A flow control valve comprises a seal member arranged between a main communication hole and a valve body to restrict leakage of fluid from either the main communication hole or a main opening part to a clearance part. The valve body rotated and driven by a driving mechanism communicates a first sub-communication hole with a first sub-opening part irrespective of a rotating position of the valve body, changes a communication state between the main communication hole and the main opening part and a communication state between a second sub-communication hole and a second sub-opening part with response to a rotating position of the valve body, fluid leaked out to the second sub-communication hole through a clearance part formed between an inner peripheral surface of the valve body storing part and an outer peripheral surface of a peripheral wall of the valve body is applied with pressure loss at the clearance part, the pressure loss is set in such a way that an amount of fluid leaked out to the second sub-communication hole is set in response to an amount allowed at a device to which the main communication hole is connected under a state in which the main communication hole and the main opening part are communicated and the second sub-communication hole and the second sub-opening part are not communicated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】 ハウジング内の弁体を回転駆動させる際のトルクを低減することができる流量制御弁を提供すること。【解決手段】 流量制御弁は、主連通孔と弁体との間に設けられ、主連通孔または主開口部から隙間部への流体の漏れを抑制するシール部材を備え、駆動機構に回転駆動される弁体は、弁体の回転位置に関わらず第1副連通孔と第1副開口部とを連通するとともに、弁体の回転位置に応じて主連通孔と主開口部の連通状態と、第2副連通孔と第2副開口部との連通状態を変化させ、弁体収容部の内周面と弁体周壁の外周面との間で形成される隙間部を介して第2副連通孔に漏れ出す流体は、隙間部によって圧力損失が与えられ、圧力損失は、主連通孔と主開口部とが連通し、かつ、第2副連通孔と第2副開口部とが連通していない状態において、第2副連通孔に流体が漏れ出す量が、主連通孔が接続する装置において許容される量に応じて設定されるようにした。【選択図】 図4
