PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of a driving force transmission device which quickly, unfailingly informs an operator of a vehicle of occurrence of abnormality while safely holding a propeller shaft when the abnormality occurs in a connection structure of the propeller shaft and concurrently secures layout flexibility of peripheral components without increasing the number of components.SOLUTION: A connection structure provided at a connection portion between a propeller shaft PS and a rear differential mechanism RD includes: a protruding part 41 protruding from the propeller shaft PS to the rear differential mechanism RD and having a columnar shaft form; and a cylindrical insertion part 42 formed in the rear differential mechanism RD and into which the protruding part 41 is inserted.
