PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of a driving force transmission device which quickly, unfailingly informs an operator of a vehicle of occurrence of abnormality while safely holding a propeller shaft when the abnormality occurs in a connection structure of the propeller shaft and concurrently secures layout flexibility of peripheral components without increasing the number of components.SOLUTION: A connection structure provided at a connection portion between a propeller shaft PS and a rear differential mechanism RD includes: a protruding part 41 protruding from the propeller shaft PS to the rear differential mechanism RD and having a columnar shaft form; and a cylindrical insertion part 42 formed in the rear differential mechanism RD and into which the protruding part 41 is inserted. The protruding part 41 is inserted into the insertion part 42 while forming a gap S therebetween in a state where the propeller shaft PS and the rear differential mechanism RD are connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
