【課題】交差点、歩道及び横断歩道を安全に走行することができる車両及び自動運転制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】外部の障害物を検出可能なセンサー回路4を備え、車両1は、この先走行予定の経路上における交差点、歩道及び横断歩道の危険領域と、危険領域に隣接し、危険領域より遠い出口領域とにおいて、センサー回路4からのセンサー情報により、車両、バイク、人、自転車、車椅子等の車外の障害物の検出を行い、危険領域と出口領域の両方の領域に障害物が無い場合、危険領域に進入し、危険領域に障害物が無く、出口領域に障害物が有る場合、危険領域に進入せず、危険領域の手前で停止する。したがって、交差点、歩道及び横断歩道で立ち往生してしまうような危険な状況に至るのを回避することができる。【選択図】図1
