To specify reflectance or reflection intensity of a reflection surface.SOLUTION: A radar device 30, which detects a target present around a vehicle, includes input means (communication unit 35) for inputting information on a reflection surface which reflects electro magnetic wave existing around the vehicle, detection means (electromagnetic wave transmission/reception unit 31, electromagnetic wave analysis unit 32, and calculation unit 33) which transmits electromagnetic wave, receives a reflection signal reflected by the reflection surface, and detects information on the reflectance or reflection intensity of the electromagnetic wave by the reflection surface on the basis of the received reflection signal, and output means (communication unit 35) which outputs information on the reflectance or reflection intensity detected by the detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
