To provide a lean vehicle that is less likely to change in a posture when turning and is easily operated by a driver during turning.SOLUTION: A vehicle 1 that is a lean vehicle includes: a gear-type multi-stage automatic transmission 12 including an inclination detection unit 61 that detects a posture of a vehicle body 2, a plurality of gear shift stages, and a clutch 40 that can change between a transmission state and a non-transmission state from driving force from an engine 11 to the plurality of gear shift stages; and a control device 7 that changes the drive force to the non-transmission state in the multi-stage automatic transmission 12 when the engine speed is smaller than an engine speed threshold. When determining with the inclination detection unit 61 that the vehicle 1 is traveling in a standing state, the control device 7 sets the engine speed threshold for changing the drive force to the non-transmission state in the multi-stage automatic transmission 12 to a first engine speed threshold. When determining that the vehicle 1 is turning in an inclined state, the control device sets the engine speed threshold to a second engine speed threshold smaller than the first engine speed threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
