To suppress sudden drop of reaction force applied to a passenger from a hollow impact absorption body.SOLUTION: A knee bolster 10 for vehicle constituted by being applied with an impact absorption structure comprises a blow molding body 12 which is attached to an instrument panel reinforcement 40 of the vehicle via a bracket 30. The blow molding body 12 includes an orifice (exhaust hole) 18 which is plastically deformed by being compressed between the bracket 30 and a knee part N of a passenger P in collision of the vehicle and exhausts the inside air to the outside with internal pressure increase due to the compression.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】中空状の衝撃吸収体から乗員に加わる反力が急激に低下することを抑制する。【解決手段】本衝撃吸収構造が適用されて構成された車両用ニーボルスター10は、車両のインパネリインフォースメント40にブラケット30を介して取り付けられるブロー成型体12を備えている。ブロー成型体12は、車両の衝突時にブラケット30と乗員Pの膝部Nとの間で圧縮されて塑性変形すると共に、当該圧縮による内圧上昇によって内部の空気を外部に排気するためのオリフィス(排気孔)18を有している。【選択図】図1
