To provide an autonomous moving apparatus capable of operating in an area, where communication is impossible, with the same precision as the precision in an area where communication is possible, and being easily adapted to an existing autonomous moving apparatus.SOLUTION: An autonomous moving apparatus 1 includes a control unit 1a, communication unit 1b, memory unit 1c, and sensor group 1d. The control unit 1a infers an advancing direction of the autonomous moving apparatus 1 from a history of condition information representing a present condition, transmits the condition information and inferred advancing direction to a server device via the communication unit 1b, and receives out-of-service area information representing an out-of-service area in the advancing direction where the communication unit 1b cannot perform communication. The control unit 1a requests information necessary for autonomous moving control over a range, which is delineated with the condition information and out-of-service area information, from the server device via the communication unit 1b, receives the necessary information, tentatively stores the received necessary information in the memory unit 1c, and implements autonomous moving control on the basis of the necessary information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】自律移動装置において、通信ができない領域においても通信ができる領域と同様の精度で運行が可能で、且つ既存の自律移動装置への適用も容易に行うことを可能にする。【解決手段】自律移動装置1は制御部1a、通信部1b、記憶部1c、及びセンサ群1dを備える。制御部1aは、現在の状態を示す状態情報の履歴から自律移動装置1の進行方向を予測し、通信部1bを介して、状態情報と予測した進行方向とをサーバ装置に送信し、進行方向における通信部1bで通信ができない通信圏外を示す圏外情報を受信する。制御部1aは、通信部1bを介して、状態情報と圏外情報とが示す範囲について、自律移動制御に必要な情報をサーバ装置に要求して受信し、受信した必要な情報を記憶部1cに一時的に記憶させて、上記必要な情報に基づき自律移動制御を行う。【選択図】図1
