To properly execute driving support control.SOLUTION: A driving support device includes: ambient sensors 11 and 12 for acquiring ambient information; and a control unit 10 for executing drive support control including at least one of deceleration support control before turning right or left and warning control before turning right or left when a predetermined execution condition is satisfied. The control unit performs overwriting processing for overwriting second road surface arrow information with first road surface arrow information at a first point of time and storing it or holding processing for holding the second road surface arrow information at the first point of time on the basis of satisfaction/non-satisfaction of a specific condition which is satisfied when types of directions other than a straight advancing direction included in an advance-possible direction of a first road surface arrow indication detected at the first point of time decrease as compared with types of directions other than the straight advancing direction included in the second road surface arrow information already stored in a memory device at the first point of time, and determines satisfaction/non-satisfaction of the execution condition at the first point of time on the basis of road surface arrow information subjected to the overwriting processing and the holding processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
