A method for controlling the engine friction loss comprises a loss torque learning mode for updating a base-fixed value applied to the friction loss torque correction of the engine as a correction value reflecting the friction loss torque sum of the friction loss factor learned by a controller at a moment of engine OFF and engine clutch OFF. Therefore, an accurate value is reflected at an engine target driving point (or an optimal driving point) during the friction loss control of a vehicle (1). The base-fixed value of an engine loss torque map (10-1) is updated by learning and correction based on the friction loss torque sum calculated per coolant temperature/per engine speed, thereby responding to the environmental change (engine durability or exchange of engine oil).
본 발명의 엔진마찰손실제어방법은 엔진의 마찰손실토크보정에 적용된 기본 고정 값을 엔진 OFF와 엔진클러치 OFF의 시점에서 제어기에 의해 학습된 마찰손실요소의 마찰손실토크 합이 반영된 보정 값으로 업데이트(update)시키는 손실토크 학습모드를 더 포함함으로써 차량(1)의 마찰손실제어 시 엔진 목표 운전점(또는 최적 운전점)에서 정확한 값으로 반영되고, 특히 냉각수 온도별/엔진속도별로 산출된 마찰손실토크 합에 의한 학습과 보정으로 엔진손실토크 맵(10-1)의 기본 고정 값이 업데이트(Update)됨으로써 환경변화(엔진 내구 또는 엔진오일 교환)에 대한 대응도 가능한 특징을 갖는다.
