The project concerns the construction of a one-story general industrial-type building with a two-story office wing. The facility will occupy about 400,000 gross square feet and will serve as the Main Honolulu Post Office. Adverse environmental impacts of the project are the increase in automotive traffic, the various short-term impacts of the construction period, and the loss of four large palm trees presently on the project site.
