Under the Consulting Agreement dated October 31, 2003, the Minister of Transport and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia retained a US advisory group to perform various planning and analysis activities, including a feasibility study concerning the potential redevelopment and expansion of the commercial operations of the Belgrade International Airport in Serbia. This report provides the results of the first phase of the Advisory Group's work, which includes a feasibility study of the potential for the redevelopment and expansion of the Airport as a regional cargo hub, via inter alia the expansion of the cargo handling and logistics facilities at the Airport, including via a new cargo terminal, and the development of complementary and ancillary facilities to provide the basis for attracting the interest of, and initial discussions with investors and operators.
